Job Summary:

A Public Relations and Media Officer is responsible for managing the reputation and image of a company, organization, or client. They play a crucial role in shaping public opinion, raising awareness, and maintaining a positive company image.

• Developing and implementing PR campaigns and media relations strategies. Writing press releases, articles, and social media posts to shape public impression and influence public opinion.
• Addressing inquiries from the media and other parties.
• Organizing and attending promotional events such as press conferences, exhibitions, and tours.
• Speaking publicly at interviews, press conferences, and presentations.
• Providing information about new promotional opportunities and progress of PR campaigns to clients and colleagues.
• Analyzing media coverage and monitoring online presence.

Qualification:

• A bachelor’s degree in majors such as Business, Communication, Public Relations, Journalism, Psychology, or English is often required for a career in public relations or relates backgrounds.

Work Experience:

• 4 to 7 years of related experience to be considered for a position in public relations. Five years of experience in the media industry.
