Senior Talent Development Officer

Job Summary:

The Senior Talent Development Officer plays a crucial role in coordinating and assisting with the analysis, development, execution, and evaluation of employee professional development programs within an organization. They work closely with various stakeholders to design and implement initiatives that enhance employee skills, knowledge, and performance.

• Coordinate and assist in the design, development, and execution of employee professional development programs.
• Conduct training needs analyses to identify organizational and individual training requirements.
• Research and collect data pertinent to the training process and assist in evaluating program effectiveness.
• Collaborate with internal teams and subject matter experts to create and deliver training content.
• Assist in the communication and facilitation of professional development opportunities for employees.
• Provide guidance and support to employees in navigating available development resources.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in talent development.
• Assist in the creation of routine and ad-hoc reports related to talent development activities and programs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address talent development gaps.
• Support the evaluation and selection of external training providers, as needed.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the organization.

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, organizational development, or a related field

Work Experience:

• A round 4 to 7 years of work experience.

Competencies/ Personal attributes:

• Strong understanding of talent development principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• Experience in conducting training needs analyses and evaluating program effectiveness.
• Proficiency in designing and delivering training content.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Familiarity with learning management systems and other talent development tools.
• Continuous learning mindset and a passion for talent development.
