Software Delivery Manager

Job Summary:

Technical Delivery Manager/Lead is to oversee the successful delivery of technical projects within an organization. They are responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery process, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet the required quality standards. The Technical Delivery Manager/Lead plays a crucial role in coordinating and aligning cross-functional teams, managing resources, and mitigating risks to ensure the successful implementation of technical solutions.

• Lead and manage the technical delivery team, ensuring successful and timely delivery of projects.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Develop and maintain project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management.
• Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams, including software development, quality assurance, and product management, to ensure alignment and successful project execution.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, and implement appropriate corrective actions.
• Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to project management methodologies and best practices.
• Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, promoting effective communication and knowledge sharing.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the team, ensuring the use of appropriate tools and technologies.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in technology delivery practices.

Qualification:

A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Work Experience:

• A round 8-10 years of experience as a Technical Delivery Manager/Lead.

• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices.
• Excellent leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in relevant project management tools and software.
