Job Title: Business Development and Vendor Relationship Team Lead

Overview:

eTech is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development and Vendor Relationship Team Lead to join our growing team. This role will be responsible for driving new business opportunities and managing key vendor relationships to maximize value and support the company’s strategic objectives.

Responsibilities:

Business Development:

      • Develop and execute strategic business development plans to identify and secure new clients and partnerships.
      • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and trends.
      • Generate leads through various channels, including networking, cold calling, and online marketing.
      • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients and partners.
      • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and contracts.
      • Negotiate contracts and agreements with new clients.
      • Track and report on business development activities and results.

Vendor Relationship Management:

      • Identify, evaluate, and select key vendors based on quality, price, and reliability.
      • Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
      • Manage ongoing vendor relationships to ensure performance meets expectations.
      • Monitor vendor performance and address any issues or concerns.
      • Develop and implement vendor management strategies to optimize costs and improve efficiency.
      • Conduct regular vendor performance reviews and identify areas for improvement.
      • Maintain accurate records of vendor contracts and performance.
      • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure vendor services meet business

Team Leadership:

      • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of business development and vendor relationship professionals.
      • Set team goals and objectives and monitor progress.
      • Provide coaching and training to team members.
      • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback.
      • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Above 5 years of experience in business development and/or vendor relationship management.
  • Proven track record of success in generating new business and managing vendor relationships.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience leading and managing a team.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Certifications:

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA).
  • Relevant certifications (Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM)).
