Role Summary: 

This position combines the principles of Project Management with the Agile/Scrum framework for fast-paced software development. The successful candidate will be highly responsible for ensuring that the company’s technology and software development projects are completed within the designated time, quality, and budget. They will coordinate cross-functional teams, remove impediments, and ensure the proper implementation of Scrum practices.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Scrum Master Responsibilities & Agile Facilitation:
   ​Lead and facilitate all Scrum events (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, and Retrospectives).
   ​Proactively identify and remove impediments that block the development team’s progress.
   ​Foster strong collaboration between the Product Owner and the development team, and assist in clearly defining and prioritizing the Product Backlog.
   ​Cultivate an Agile culture focused on continuous improvement within the team.
   
2. Project Management Responsibilities:
   ​Clearly define and plan project scope, goals, and deliverables.
   ​Manage comprehensive project plans, budget utilization, and resource allocation.
   ​Preemptively assess project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
   ​Prepare and present regular project status reports to executive management and relevant stakeholders.
   ​Utilize project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, or Asana) to track workflows and ensure quality standards.

Education & Experience::

• Bachelor’s (BSc/BA) or Master’s (MSc/MBA) degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology (IT), Business Management, or a related field.
  ​A minimum of 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience as a Project Manager or Scrum Master in software development or technology projects.

Professional Certifications (Highly Preferred):

• ​Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM I/II).
  ​Project Management Professional (PMP) or PMI-ACP (Agile Certified Practitioner).

Experience:

• High proficiency in using Jira or similar Agile project management software.
• Deep understanding of Agile principles, the Scrum framework, and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and team leadership skills.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities and mature conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously (multi-tasking).
