Job Summary:
A Junior Support Engineer is an entry-level role within the technical support field. They provide assistance and troubleshooting for customers or internal users experiencing technical issues with software, hardware, or IT systems.
• Provide technical support and assistance to customers or internal users via various channels, such as phone, email, or chat.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues related to software, hardware, or IT systems.
• Escalate complex issues to senior support engineers or other appropriate teams.
• Document and track customer interactions and resolutions in a ticketing system.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as development or quality assurance, to resolve customer issues.
• Assist in the testing and validation of software updates or new releases.
• Provide training and guidance to customers or internal users on using software or IT systems effectively.
• Stay updated on product knowledge and industry trends to provide accurate and up-to-date support.
• Contribute to the improvement of support processes and knowledge base documentation.
Qualification:
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, information technology, or a related discipline.
Work Experience:
• A round 2+ years of experience of work.
Competencies/ Personal attributes:
• Knowledge of hardware and networking systems.
• Familiarity with operating systems, web services, and APIs.
• Understanding of remote access systems, such as Team Viewer or similar tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex software and hardware issues.

• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
