Presales Engineer – ICT Infrastructure

Job Summary/Basic Function

We are seeking a dynamic and technically adept Presales Engineer specializing in ICT Infrastructure to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in shaping and presenting cutting-edge technology solutions to potential clients, ensuring alignment between our offerings and their business needs. As a Presales Engineer, you will leverage your technical expertise, communication skills, and market knowledge to drive successful pre-sales engagements and contribute to the growth of our ICT infrastructure solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Solution Development: Collaborate with the sales team to understand client requirements and business objectives, translating them into effective ICT infrastructure solutions. Design innovative and cost-effective technical proposals, including hardware, software, networking, and cloud components, tailored to client needs.
  • Technical Presentations: Conduct engaging and informative product demonstrations, workshops, and presentations to potential clients, displaying the value and benefits of our ICT infrastructure solutions. Effectively communicate complex technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Requirements Analysis: Analyze client RFPs, RFIs, and other technical documents to extract key technical and business requirements, ensuring accurate and comprehensive solution design.
  • Solution Customization: Work closely with clients to understand their unique ICT infrastructure challenges and adapt standard solutions to meet specific needs while adhering to best practices.
  • Collaboration and Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and technical experts, to ensure seamless transition from presales to implementation phases. Provide technical guidance and support to the sales team throughout the sales cycle, addressing inquiries and technical concerns.
  • Proof of Concept (PoC) Management: Plan, design, and execute successful PoCs to demonstrate the functionality and performance of our ICT infrastructure solutions in real-world scenarios.
  • Market Insights: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to provide insights that contribute to the enhancement of our ICT infrastructure offerings.
  • Client Relationship Building: Build strong relationships with potential clients by understanding their business goals and ICT infrastructure needs, and offering tailored solutions that drive value.

Requirements and skills

  • Strong knowledge of networking, hardware, software, cloud technologies, and data center architectures.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in creating compelling technical documentation, proposals, and presentations.
  • Proficiency in understanding and analyzing client technical requirements and translating them into effective solutions.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard design and architecture methodologies.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) would be advantageous.



  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.



  • Proven experience (3+ years) in presales engineering, ICT infrastructure design, and solution development.
