System Administrator

Job Summary:

The System Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining the technical infrastructure of the Ride and eCommerce organization. This role involves ensuring the smooth operation and availability of systems, servers, and networks, as well as providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to employees. The System Administrator will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and optimize systems and security measures.

Job Description:

– Manage and maintain the technical infrastructure of the Ride and eCommerce platform, including servers, networks, and systems.
– Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure optimal uptime and performance.
– Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software applications, and hardware components.
– Perform regular system backups and ensure data integrity and availability.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and optimize systems, tools, and security measures.
– Provide technical support and assistance to employees, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
– Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
– Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in the Ride and eCommerce industry and evaluate their potential impact on the organization’s systems.
– Collaborate with vendors and external partners to manage and maintain third-party systems and integrations.
– Ensure compliance with security policies, procedures, and best practices.


– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
– Proven experience as a System Administrator, preferably in a Ride or eCommerce-related field.
– Strong knowledge of operating systems, such as Windows, Linux, or Unix.
– Experience with virtualization technologies, such as VMware or Hyper-V.
– Proficiency in network administration, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
– Experience in managing and troubleshooting web servers.
– Knowledge of eCommerce platforms and technologies is highly desirable.
– Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
– Relevant certifications are a plus.
