Job Title: Cyber Security Division Manager

Job Summary: 

The Cyber Security Division Manager plays a critical role in driving cybersecurity solution sales by bridging the gap between technical capabilities and customer needs. This role involves working closely with sales teams, clients, and technical teams to design, present, and demonstrate cybersecurity solutions that address client challenges and align with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Leadership:
    • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of cybersecurity architecture and controls.
    • Lead incident response, threat detection, and vulnerability management efforts.
    • Ensure compliance with security standards, frameworks, and regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
    • Evaluate and implement security tools and technologies (e.g., SIEM, EDR, IAM, DLP).
    • Lead the technical aspects of RFP/RFI responses, solution architecture, and proposal development.
    • Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies.
    • Work with product and engineering teams to align offerings with market needs.
  • Team & Project Management:
    • Manage and mentor a team of pre-sales engineers or consultants.
    • Manage and mentor a team of technical engineers or consultants.
    • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure the timely delivery of presales activities.
    • Track and report on pre-sales metrics and performance.
  • Client Engagement & Solution Design:
    • Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and propose tailored cybersecurity solutions.
    • Conduct technical presentations, product demos, and proof-of-concept (PoC) sessions.
    • Translate complex cybersecurity concepts into business-friendly language for stakeholders.
  • Vendor Management:
    • Develop and implement vendor management strategies aligned with business goals.
    • Evaluate, select, and onboard new vendors based on quality, cost, and compliance.
    • Maintain a centralized vendor database and ensure accurate documentation.
    • Monitor vendor performance using KPIs and SLAs; conduct regular reviews.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess vendor effectiveness and resolve issues.
    • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service terms with vendors.
    • Ensure vendors comply with legal, regulatory, and cybersecurity standards.
    • Identify opportunities for cost savings, innovation, and process improvement.
    • Manage vendor risk and support business continuity planning.
  • Technical Leadership:

  • Customer Success & Relationship Building:
    • Build strong relationships with key clients and partners.
    • Provide strategic input during the sales cycle to increase win rates.
    • Support post-sales transition to delivery teams.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, Information Security, or related field (master’s preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 2 years in a presales or technical consulting role.
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity domains: network security, endpoint protection, identity & access management, cloud security, SIEM/SOC, etc.
  • Familiarity with frameworks like NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, etc.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or vendor-specific (e.g., Arcon, Fortinet, TrendMicro, Kaspersky, Cisco, Microsoft Security) are a plus.

Preferred Skills :

  • Experience with cybersecurity tools and platforms (e.g., Splunk, CrowdStrike, Fortinet, etc.).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Business acumen and understanding of sales processes.
  • Team leader experience is mandatory
