External Audit Services for the 2026/2027, 2027/2028 and 2028/2029 Fiscal Years

 

eTech SC invites qualified and licensed audit firms to submit technical and financial proposals for the external audit of its financial statements for the fiscal years 2026/2027, 2027/2028 and 2028/2029.

1. Scope of Services

  • Audit of the annual financial statements in accordance with International Standards on Auditing (ISA) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) [or applicable Ethiopian standards]

  • Review of internal controls and a management letter with findings and recommendations after each audit

  • Reporting to the Board of Directors / Audit Committee and the General Assembly of shareholders

  • Compliance review against applicable laws, tax regulations and company bylaws

2. Eligibility Requirements

  • A valid audit practice license from the Accounting and Auditing Board of Ethiopia (AABE) or the relevant regulator

  • Valid business license, tax clearance and VAT/TIN registration

  • At least 5years of audit experience, including at least 3 audits of share companies or comparable entities [in the technology/service sector]

  • A qualified engagement team (partner and manager with relevant professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA or CIA)

  • Demonstrated independence, with no conflict of interest with eTech SC, its directors or its management

  • No record of license suspension or professional disciplinary action

3. Documents to Submit

  1. Company profile and copies of the legal and professional licenses

  2. Technical proposal covering audit approach, work plan, timeline and team CVs

  3. Financial proposal, with the fee for each fiscal year quoted separately in ETB, inclusive of VAT

  4. List of at least 3 similar assignments with client references

  5. Signed declaration of independence and no conflict of interest

4. Evaluation
Proposals will be evaluated on technical merit ([70]%) and financial offer ([30]%), and only firms scoring at least [70]% on the technical evaluation will have their financial proposals opened.

5. Submission
Sealed proposals, marked “External Audit Services, Ref. [number]” with separate technical and financial envelopes, must be delivered to:

eTech SC, [CEO Office/ Finance Department], ICT PARK, BPO Building 7TH floor Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

Deadline: November 02/2026. Late submissions will not be accepted.
