Role Summary: 

The Senior Software Developer plays a pivotal role in designing, architecting, and deploying robust software solutions tailored to business needs. Beyond hands-on technical execution, the role encompasses leading engineering initiatives, mentoring junior and mid-level developers, enforcing best engineering practices, and driving the delivery of high-performing, secure, and scalable applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Software Development & Delivery: Architect, develop, and deploy high-quality, maintainable, and efficient software applications through the complete Software Development Life Cycle.
• Technical Leadership & Architecture: Drive architectural decisions, define system specifications, enforce coding standards, and establish modern engineering workflows across the team.
• Mentorship & Team Empowerment: Provide technical guidance, coaching, and regular code reviews for junior and mid-level software engineers to foster continuous professional growth.
• Code Quality & Review: Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure compliance with quality standards, security guidelines, and architectural integrity.
• Technical Documentation: Produce clear, comprehensive technical documentation, architecture diagrams, API specifications, and operational manuals.
• Product Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to brainstorm, innovate, and continuously enhance existing software products for optimal performance and scalability.
• Agile Project Execution: Work effectively within Agile/Scrum frameworks, participating in sprint planning, estimations, and meeting tight delivery milestones.
• Information Security & Compliance: Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to corporate data protection and software security protocols.

Qualifications & Experience Requirements:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• Professional Experience: Minimum of 4+ years of relevant experience in software development, including at least 2+ years of professional hands-on experience building complex, production-ready systems.

Core Technical & Behavioral Competencies:

• Programming Expertise: Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Functional Programming paradigms using industry-standard enterprise languages.
• Cloud & API Integration: Hands-on experience with major Cloud platforms, Git workflows, Application Integration, and designing/consuming RESTful or gRPC Web Services.
• Agile & Quality Assurance: Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies, automated testing frameworks, and software quality assurance practices.
