Job Title: Infrastructure & Hardware Analyst

Role Summary 

Information technology (IT) Infrastructure & Hardware Analyst serving as technical experts and participate in or oversee a variety of analytical and technical assignments that provide for problem diagnosis and solutions documentation, implementation, administration, support, and maintenance of a variety of hardware, software, and network products in an information technology infrastructure environment. 

Key Responsibilities 

  1. Operational Leadership & Team Management
  • Workflow Coordination: Managing daily staff distribution, re-allocating resources based on operational needs, and ensuring coverage levels.
  • Mentors hip: Serving as the first point of contact for staff seeking supervisory guidance and fostering a collaborative, high-performance team culture. 
  • Stakeholder Relations:Maintaining strong relationships with front, middle, and back-office teams and communicating regularly with leadership. 
  1. Infrastructure & Project Management
  • Site Deployment: Planning and executing technology setups for major office relocations, campus environments, and international branch networks.
  • Hardware/Network Management: Overseeing telephony, networking, server infrastructure, and workstation deployments globally while ensuring they meet company policies.
  1. Security, Risk & Compliance
  • Policy Development: Creating and implementing security standards and procedures.
  • Risk Assessment: Performing technical security assessments across platforms and providing guidance to mitigate potential risks.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Partnering with technology owners to ensure all systems adhere to security regulations and standards.
  1. Data & Storage Management
  • Database Oversight: Managing various database types, including Data Warehouses and Online Transaction Processing (OLTP) systems. 
  • Lifecycle Management: Implementing andoptimizing backup, archiving, and disaster recovery processes. 
  • Storage Maintenance: Monitoring storageutilization, managing disk/tape maintenance, and handling the deployment and decommissioning of storage hardware. 
  1. Technical Support & System Optimization
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and resolving complex issues related to software, hardware, and network infrastructure.
  • Proactive Monitoring:Utilizing monitoring tools to isolate potential system problems before they escalate. 
  • Process Improvement: Supporting release, change, and problem management tooptimize system performance and reliability. 

Academic Qualification 

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree BSc, from a recognized university in a technical field (Computer Science, Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering, Software   Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, Intelligent Systems,  Internet Technology Management Information System, Business Informatics, Project Management and other ICT related backgrounds). 

Experience 

  • The role requires a mid-level professional (2 to 4 years of total experience) who has spent a significant portion of their career (1 to 3 years) specializing in integrated IT infrastructure, spanning servers, storage, networking, and databases.Core Competencies.
