Job Summary: 

Under the supervision of Finance and admin Director, the HR Manager is responsible for planning and coordinating administrative procedures and systems. Moreover, she/he is expected to be devising ways to streamline processes, recruiting and training personnel and allocating responsibilities and office space. Finally, assess staff performance and provide coaching and guidance to ensure maximum efficiency.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Overseas the proper implementation of the HR policy and procedures, once it approved by the Executive Board.
  • Plans, organizes, leads, coordinates, and supervises the activities of the department.
  • Identifies the current and future HR needs of the company and designs appropriate recruitment, selection and development strategies to have the right employees,
  • Ensures that employees get the required training including orientation programs,
  • Implements feasible capacity building program (training, awareness creation, experience sharing, etc.) & institutional development models in collaboration with the General Manager and other departments,
  • Supervise and oversee the administration of proper appraisal of employees’ performance throughout the company,
  • Ensures that salary, fringe benefits and employee services are fairly and consistently administered in the company,
  • Ensures that employee grievances and disciplinary standards are fairly and properly addressed,
  • Performs general service activities for smooth function of the company operations,
  • Ensures the proper maintenance of human resource archives
  • Guides the division’s staff on the operational policies and procedures of the company and provides coaching on difficult and complex operational issues Job Description and Specification Document
  • Recruit and train personnel and allocate responsibilities and office space,
  • Assess staff performance and provide coaching and guidance to ensure maximum efficiency,
  • Keep abreast of all organizational changes and business developments,
  • Provide Human Resources Leadership and Management,
  • Handles all HR management issues and oversee staff development,
  • Completes all performance management activities including: performance planning, monitoring and annual performance appraisals of staff,
  • Plans and coordinates the proper utilization of manpower,
  • Conducts a training need analysis and facilitates training required to bring knowledge, skill and attitudinal developments,
  • Maintains the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions,
  • Conducting and analyzing exit interviews; recommending changes.
  • Scheduling management conferences with employees; hearing and resolving employees grievances; counseling employees and supervisors,
  • Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource legal requirements,
  • Maintains historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system; keeping past and current records,
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Prepares and submit periodic department’s performance reports,
  • Supervise and follow-up HR Management related routines (Daily attendance, Time sheet, Work quality, Delegation of task, Annual leave)
  • Perform other duties assigned to him /her by the immediate supervisor.

Academic Qualification:

  • MA/MBA/BA in Management/ Human Resource Management or related fields

Work Experience:

  • 7/9 years of related experience in similar organization of which is at least 1 year in managerial position
