Job Summary: 

A Scrum Master is a key member of an agile development team responsible for facilitating the application of Scrum methodology. They guide the team in following agile principles, remove obstacles that may hinder progress, and ensure effective collaboration between developers, product owners, and stakeholders. The Scrum Master plays a vital role in promoting continuous improvement and delivering projects successfully within the agile framework.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews.
• Ensure that the team adheres to Scrum practices and principles.
• Coach team members in Agile methodologies and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Support the Product Owner in managing the product backlog and defining project goals.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance collaboration and communication.
• Remove impediments that hinder team progress and productivity.
• Track and report on team progress, performance metrics, and sprint outcomes.
• Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
• Act as a liaison between the team and stakeholders, ensuring transparency and clear communication.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and facilitate feedback loops.

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or in an Agile role.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM).
• Experience with Agile project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello).
